We have spent the past few weeks observing changes to eggs soaked in water and vinegar. 

So far, we have noticed no change to our egg in tap water. It is still the same size and feels the same.

But our egg that is in a jar of vinegar is undergoing lots of changes. Straight away, it began to fizz. Within the first day the egg shell had changed colour. Now, the egg also feels soft if we touch it.

We are going to wait and see does the vinegar cause any more changes to the egg.
