This month we are learning all about Australia. We have learned about how Australia is on the other side of the work and what the weather is like there.

We have also learned about the animals of Australia. We all loved the lyre bird the most. We looked at amazing pictures of the great barrier reef and learned about the sea creatures that live there, such as the sea star, clown fish, brain coral.

Then we learned about the first people to live in Australia – the Aboriginal people. They used drawings to tell stories and give directions and warnings. We tried our own aboriginal painting.
